Tran Minh Nhut rewarded for 1st class Master graduation

On the morning of 29 November, 2015, International University - Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City held a graduation ceremony for 84 new Masters. Of the 34.5% of graduates with very good and excellent degrees, Tran Minh Nhut was the only person to be awarded with Gold medal for the first-class graduation and having excellent scientific research performance.
Not only did he have excellent performance in study, but Tran Minh Nhut completed a master's program in pharmaceutical biotechnology half year ahead of schedule. Also, in nearly 2 years, Nhut had 3 articles published on international scientific journals on the list of ISI, of which Nhut was the first author of 2. These articles present the result of his research on the design simulation of medicine for influenza A.
Regarding these studies, Nhut said: "In the world there are two common kinds of medicine for influenza A (H7N9 and H5N1), Rimantadine and Amantadine. However, they have drug resistance. The goal of my research is to find a new candidate which can replace those drugs." By this time, Nhut has finished screening stage on computer to prepare for the next step of synthesizing and testing
. With the results of his postgraduate education research, Nhut has received some PhD scholarship from universities around the world such as University Paris 1 (France).
