Advances in theory, methodology and computation in the field of computational biophysics and medicine has led to important discoveries in life sciences, especially in the field of drug development. Since this year we are planning to organize a series of ICST (Institute for Computational Science and Technology) Workshop on Computational Biophysics and Medicine which will focus on cutting-edge developments in modeling to improve our comprehension and knowledge of biological systems.

The first edition of this series will focus on the protein folding and aggregation, which is associated with neurodegenerative diseases, coarse-grained modeling of cell, the application of molecular dynamics simulation and machine learning in drug design. The workshop will promote exchanges, interactions, and collaborations between scientists from different parts of the world. Vietnamese students will get a good chance to contact with leading experts in the field of computational biophysics and medicine.
