ICCSE-3 - A hub of leading scientists of Computational Science and Technology
The third International Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (ICCSE-3) took place on 28 and 29, November, 2016 at 14 Vo Van Tan street, district 3 with an impressive figure of more than 200 participants, 89 presentations, 65 posters of reputable authors nation- and wordwide.
On the morning of 28 November, the Institute for Computational Science and Technology organized ICCSE-3 under the sponsorship of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Deparment of Science and Technology. The workshop welcomed nearly 200 guests who are professors; doctors; scientists; lecturers; researcher; experts, speakers, and the students coming from countries and regions including the US, Britain, France, Belgium, Poland, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam working in computational scientific and technological field.
Speaking at the convention, Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung - Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology believed the ICCSE-3 would continue to be an opportunity for scientists to share experience and opportunities for practical research, bringing social benefits and continuing achievements of computational science and technology worldwide.

The workshop was held with the aim to introduce scientific and technological developments, practical research on computational science and technology in the field of computational biophysics and medicine, computational chemistry, nanomaterials, applied mathematics, environmental computational sciences. The event also aimed to promote development cooperation, encourage and attract investment in the field of science and technology in general and computing field in particular, towarding a modern and highly application-oriented science. At the same time, the conference also opened opportunities for cooperation in research and development for new technologies in the future, such as drug design, photovoltaics, environmental modeling and forecasting the impact of climate changes, and so forth.
