Several activities celebrating the 40th anniversary the city was named President Ho Chi Minh
On the celebration of the 40th anniversary Saigon - Gia Dinh was officially named after Uncle Ho (02 July, 1976 - 02 July, 2016), the Youth Union branch of the Institute for Computational Science and Technology organized some activities for the staff such as Happy time and a gathering to watch a documentary on Paracel islands and Spratly islands. Also, the Youth Union branch arranged an admission of Mr. Dinh Minh Giang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thi and Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
