The charity journey of ICST to Dong Thap Province in 2017
With the agreement from the Director of the Institute for Computational Science and Technology (ICST) as well as Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Youth Union of the ICST held an annual charity journey that took place from Sept 9th to Sept 10th, 2017 in Binh Hang Trung Commune, Dong Thap Province.

The team visited Cultural - Historical - Revolutionary Buu Lam Pogoda
Taking part in the journey, there were Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang – the Former Secretary of DOST Youth Union, Mr. Vo Thanh Au – Member of Executive Committee of DOST Youth Union and all members of ICST Youth Union. In addition to the main activities which were playing games with teenagers and youths at Binh Hang Trung Commune Committee, awarding scholarships to the ones who had good achievement at school, giving presents to poor children and government-policy beneficiary families; the Organization Board also set up a visit to Cultural - Historical - Revolutionary Buu Lam Pogoda where revolutionary fighters were protected and nourished.

Voluntary team also played sports and sang with Youth Union of Binh Hang Trung Commune and the Commune Police before going back to Ho Chi Minh City.

On the way home, the team visited Tram Chim national park to relax as well as refresh for a new working week. The journey ended safe and happily.
