I am pleased to announce some scholarships and study abroad opportunities as follows.

1. A message from Prof. Thanh C. Truong: An agreement between Vietnam’s VIED-MoET and University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is about to be signed regarding Vietnam’s 911 scholarship program. Under this agreement, eligible Vietnamese candidates could choose USQ as their place of study towards a PhD degree. Initially, the focus will be in the computational engineering/science areas. If you know anyone who would consider the opportunity, please advise. The eligibility criteria might have been relaxed to include people who are currently not a higher education lecturer (please check whether this is true). 2. The Consulate General of the United States of America in Ho Chi Minh City invites the public to attend the Education USA Higher Education Spring Fair on Friday, March 18, from 15:00 – 18:00 at GEM Center, 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
